Wrong kid, missy.

Something happened today.

During assembly, I was sitting with two of my friends. We were talking about something important(to us that is). And out of nowhere, I saw a teacher, pointing out at me. Asking me to stand up with her finger up, pointing still. I refused to stand up. I asked why? Since I wasn't the only one talking. Other people were talking as well. And I asked again, why? She didn't answer it and once again asked me to stand up.

I stood up.

And I did it out of respect. I wouldn't want to be rude to a teacher, correct? And when she walked away, I sat down. I wasn't going to let her embarrass me in front of the whole school. She, of course came to me all the way from the other end and asked me stand up. No scratch that. She told me to do so. She didn't ask. I said again why should I? It is embarrassing. Guess what she answered? She said, you were talking. And I wondered, that's it? That's the reason? Pretty 'smart', isn't it? I told her, it is embarrassing, and I am a 17 year old. I even said that there are other ways for her to punish me. Guess what she said again? This is the way to punish you. Yet again I have to say, pretty 'smart' of her to say so.

I ignored her asking me to stand up for about 30 seconds or so. But when I heard that certain tone of hers which is frequently heard around the school, I stood up. To make this story short, my mum then came to school, wanting to talk to her. And there she was at the tapak perhimpunan, behind there talking to the other teachers. Wow.

So let me get this straight,
I was scolded and was bewildered in front of the whole school because I was talking when the ceremony was going on. And when the ceremony was still going on, she herself was talking behind? Funny, isn't it. Talk about teachers setting examples? Or perhaps just this particular teacher.

Rattling students is not the way to punish them. Especially when they're not 5 anymore. Our parents don't even do that to us, so who do they think they are? This particular teacher loves screaming across the halls, corridors, and such. The teachers wonder, why are students rude, big headed, etc. Here's one simple answer;

Ever heard of you first have to respect, to be respected? She asked me, I answered nicely. And got a bloody ridiculous answer in return. Want me to stand up? Fine, I'll do that. With the whole school standing up as well. Cause it's crystal clear that everyone was talking.

I don't know about the other kids, but I don't sit on my ass and weep.

And the thing that I am most upset with?
I forgot what I was talking about with my friends earlier.
